Counseled companies of all types in the area of employment and business and business law and has represented clients in numerous jury trials. He is a member of Professionals in Human Resources (PIHRA), the Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of California, the Ventura County Bar Association's Employment Law Division and the American Bar Association. He is a sought after lecturer in the area of employment law and often speaks to groups of business owners and human resource professionals.

Michael's clients have ranged from entertainment management businesses, various manufacturers, general contractors, environmental corporations and countless others. He has represented businesses local, national and international in scope. Michael currently sits on the boards of directors of several corporations and both counsels and advises nonprofit organizations in their day-to-day affairs as well as proper board of director conduct, creation and use of bylaws and Robert Rules.

Michael is originally from Montreal, Canada as is fluent in both French and English. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Canada and his law degree in California where he graduated with honors and a member of the law review. He is an active member of his community and serves on several charitable organizations.

Ron Holman has a PhD in counseling psychology. He also holds a MFT license and is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. He founded The Holman Group in 1979. The Holman Group is comprised of four companies dedicated to ‘Making a Difference’ in people’s lives. Dr. Holman is the president and chief executive officer of the four companies, which provide treatment and services to more than 500,000 individuals in over 1200 organizations nationwide. The end result of his dedication to alternative, more cost effective mental health/substance abuse care has been to provide a wider range of personal and professional services to employees of private and public organizations as they deal with the complexities of life in modern society. Dr Holman is personally invested in establishing a deep balance in Mind-Body-Spirit!

Elizabeth Holman, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, has been with The Holman Group since she completed her MBA. During this time, she has worked in a variety of positions with increasing responsibility. In her current position as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, she has the overall responsibility for the development, installation and evaluation of the plan to market treatments and services resulting in the establishment of new accounts. Elizabeth directs all logistical and operational procedures which support the marketing plan involving written reports, statistical summaries, proposal development and benefit communication materials.
